Blue Earth Labs’ Floran line of products is engineered to clean water system infrastructure and storage.
All Floran products are specifically formulated for cleaning water infrastructure that can be taken out of service, particularly mission-critical infrastructure that must be returned to service quickly. Our products remove organic and inorganic deposits including iron, manganese and calcium scale, biomass and algae. Floran products work off-line on water tanks, filter bays, basins, air stripping towers, filter media, underdrains and clearwells – virtually any component of the water treatment and storage system.
Removing organic and inorganic deposits from water infrastructure stabilizes free chlorine and chloramine residuals. Floran products solve the root problem by also removing the biological substrates that lead to the formation of disinfection by-products (DBPs). With a clean infrastructure, water treatment facilities will lower chlorine demand, extend infrastructure life, reduce flushing costs, decrease labor expenses and improve overall water quality.
